The breakfast was very simple and basic. No warm breakfast if you are looking for any.
I would like to have an option to pay for the hotel room with and without breakfast. The location is centrally located in the heart of Kelowna with lots of restaurants to choose from. Breakfast across the street is about $5 if you want bacon and eggs and coffee. The room we stayed definitely needed some upgrade especially the lightings. It feels pretty dark even with the lights on.
There is nothing negative to say about this hotel. The location is perfect, the rooms are well appointed with microwave and fridge and the staff is first rate
There is not alot of parking. Some underground and some street level. But even with a rental car we had no issues..
location and quick access to bike trails, downtown restaurants, theatre, beaches by bike, etc.
no pool. underground parking limited. furniture beginning to look worn.
We really enjoyed our stay, although it was short. Breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly, and Jim at check in was great!! We will make this our hotel to stay at, as we could easily walk everywhere in beautiful downtown Kelowna.
Rooms very clean and comfortable. Somewhat noisy at front of hotel but but the air on low and it muffled the outside late night sounds.
The room was very clean. The staff were very friendly and inviting from the get-go. It was right down town, and close to everything including, the beach, restaurants, boat tours, shopping and kids' park. We stayed for 2 nights and never used our vehicle once. Everything was within walking distance. The vehicle was very secure in their provided underground parking. Kelowna is a very friendly place, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit there.
Would have liked to see a few more hot food items added to the breakfast menu. Such as waffles or pancakes, scrambled eggs, or bacon and/or sausage.
Classic old hotel by modernly done up .... best really, really comfortable .... walkable from everything in the heart of the city .... the 'free' breakfast was excellent .... didn't have one but a good idea re. Nuking the hard-boiled eggs .... probably could have had one other more healthy cereal choice, like some organic granola ..... taking another $5.00 or so off for the senior rate would make it look like a slightly better deal (but then I'm biased cause I'm a senior ..... fantastic, unique lamps --live the way the handled switch makes it so easy to operate -- meant to ask the fellow at the desk where you got these -- where did you get them cause we want one or two .... there was a couple of cords hanging from the bottom of your tv -- guy at desk had no idea what they were for when I asked him -- I kind of pulled one out of curiosity but not too hard and nothing happened (I could see some kid yanking on them though they're up high enough) ... bye the way, great TVs (you are now up or ahead of most hotels in that regard) .... anyway, overall fantastic stay and excellent hotel .... Bruce (Ronolee's husband -- she booked room)
Enjoyed the location in that there were lots of little shops and restaurants and it was a short walk to the lake. Also enjoyed the buffet breakfast that was included.
Did not enjoy the noise from the pubs that kept us awake until 3 in the morning both nights!
Royal Anne is down town in the middle of the Kelowna shopping district and only a block or two away from the marina and art district. The hotel has a long history in Kelowna (the history museum had a Christmas dinner menu from the early 1930's) but the current building only dates back to the 1970's.
Great service, friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds, location, nice lake view from the balcony. Real value for the money.
Gym needs new exercise machines.
Rooms are clean and spacious; staff is helpful and efficient
1) Rather dusty sheets; 2) Stuffy air at night- no air conditioning, but a noisy fan; 2) Breakfast too simple - mostly only eggs, cottage cheese and fruites; 3) It takes up to 7 days for deposit money to get back on credit card (this, however, is a problem for all hotels who take deposits)
Cleanness of room, frontdesk was veryhelpfull in fixing a problem.Even , not their fault , hotel has given 25% discount for customer complaint
There is very big noise from a pub in front of Hotel, certainly during weekends. couldn't sleep the last night
The hotel is very central-eg easy walking distance to places such as Bouchon's restaurant (our main reason for staying over in Kelowna!). It is very comfortable and very reasonable for such a central location. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Wendy at the front desk was exceptional, our party had a few hiccups in the plans and Wendy had put us completly at ease regarding the reservation and arrival. The beds and pillow and sheets etc are all top quality too and well noticed. Love Love Love the location we had a great time
Always concerned about the amount of parking this trip was great I was able to secure a spot underground so I had no worries.
